I am looking forward to seeing your quilt. Judy Neimeyer patterns are awesome. Why not post a picture of the in progress work?

[QUOTE=EmiliasNana;8123247]I am quilting a log cabin lap quilt with blocks made by the mother-in-law of a friend of mine. [QUOTE]

What a beautiful all over design that is! I really like that and it will add the perfect amount of texture to that LC. I hope you post the whole quilt when you are done.

my guild show in 3 weeks so I've been quilting for others for months & making lots of items for the boutique--so yesterday I just decided I needed to clear my mind and sew some blocks for me. Dug out a 6(?)yr old Stack n' Whack project, figured out the directions again and started making blocks. Luckily I'd only done a few blocks in the class years ago--I do a much better job with bias now! can't wait to see it finished.

Have 4 more to do but have to get a customer quilt on the frame again tomorrow.

Between big projects right now and about to leave town on a trip, so working on the tiny Dresden plates for Eleanor Burns Fun on the Farm BOM and I mean tiny. The little petals are 2 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" wide end and 1/2" at narrow end. Been a while since I have done a Dresden and couldn't get the first one to lay flat, Was not going to rip out all the seams and start over, so I just added another blade and it worked out fine. I think I need to use a smaller than 1/4" seam allowance on these little ones, or just add another petal. This block has been a challenge but a great learning experience too.
After the trip, 2 quilts to "quilt" and Christmas presents to make. Hope no other pattern or idea pops up to distract me

Putting a quilt top together for my son and his wife. She wanted red, black and white colors. It is going to be bright!

This is such a great thread. Made binding
and blocked the initial wall hanging today. Am following Sharon Schambers tutorial on curved
binding. So far so good. Just hope I made enough binding. Will see after the quilt dries. I really love seeing the other projects in progress. Keeps me on my toes.

I finally pulled out a pile of string pieced blocks to sew together, but realized that the muslin I'd used was a bit bright for what turned out to be mostly autumn colors. Now there's a stockpot simmerong on the stove filled with 10 teabags and 36 blocks.

nothing under my needle today. Trying to decide how I want to put together some UFO blocks and if I need to make more or just use what I've got and call it good.... yesterday worked some on coloring a whole cloth quilt with Inktense pencils--need to figure out what colors to use for the next part.

Anyone have some ideas for Christmas presents? I've done placemat sets using fabric from Grandma's house for each of the siblings, and have planned on doing some potholders for horsey friends, but am plumb out of ideas for elderly parents.
