where do I find 'old' fabric?

Good luck, I needed a piece of fabric a while back thought I had found it talked on the phone, sent a picture so I ordered it and well yes it was the right fabric line different color way even though I had described and sent a picture so I now have 3 yards of fabric that won't work for my project. I would re think and purchase only what you can see and feel no way am I purchasing any more fabric on line burn my once shame on me I am not a sucker for a second time since my budget is way to tight for that.

Please contact Missouri Star Quilting. They have a whole store of reproduction civil war fabrics and another store with re-printings of fabrics that have been popular in the last 20 years. I had given up hope of being able to find black fabric with BIG red poppies on it that was popular over 10 years ago. I found it at MSQC last fall. It might be good to send them a picture of the fabric for which you are searching.

I would keep an eye out on Ebay or on Etsy.com. Both those sites have fabrics and very often they are older prints. Then when all else fails, try Google and search for it there. It may lead you to another source.
