My machine dings and stops sewing, also let me know if the tension is wrong and if there is no thread. I have no clue how it knows all this stuff. Heck i don't even know everything my machine can do. I agree with KathyAire...tell me when it's out not low =)

Should have kept reading. Didn't know some machines already had it. My machine doesn't. Wish it did though.

My Bernina beeps and if I open the bobbin door it will stop beeping and I sew and watch hoping that I can catch it when it is out.

My sewing machine gives me an alert on the touch screen when the bobbin thread is low. I like it.
And that's not all--I can adjust how low I want the bobbin to get before giving my alert.

I love my sewing machine--it's Janome 10000.

My embroidery machine and my Pfaff both have bobbin alerts. Sure makes it nice to know when it is about out.
