It's for feet and inches. So that would be 1' (first one) 6" (second one) by 2' 0".

I have a wool pressing mat that I paid about $20 for. I don't see any difference in my pressing. I press with a hot iron and place square ruler on top until it cools. This does the most good.

I know.. the ordering box is confusing. Just put close to what you want, then in the comments box tell them to cut it to 18x24. Or email them. They are nice.. but old school! :-) Although not as thick as the expensive ones, it works great. Just make sure to order the Eco pads. Because they are all wool!

Found a pure wool box pleated skirt at a thrift store. It is bright red so I have the prettiest wool pad in my guild.

It's the Nature's Cushion. I just ordered a 2'x3' for $24! Half of what I paid for the one I got from the quilt site that is half that size.

On what surface are you placing these wool ironing mats? On top of the ironing board? Since the heat penetrate thru, I'm guessing just putting on a laminate counter top would not be good...how about a marble slab?
