Gayle, what an absolutely stunning quilt. You fabric selection is great. The best thing is to try different suggestion and take a photo. Then choose what pleases you. I would suggest a 1 to 1.5 inch light fabric inside border to create breathing room between the outside border and the quilt. Then a darker green and matching binding for the outside border. LOVE IT !!

Boy this is a hard one. I agree that without a border it is very modern looking and absolutely gorgeous. That said, I do believe a dark green border would enhance your beautiful work and the colors. Don't think I'd go with two colors as it would detract from the beauty of the fantastic work you have done.

This is a beautiful quilt and love the colors. I try to always add a border to my quilts to me that says 'look at me, I'm finished'.

I would NOT border it. It has a lot of fun movement as it is, and a border would put the stops on that, IMO.... Just find a lovely binding for it!

The dark green border would frame it nicely. I would add the border if I need the quilt to be bigger.

I put borders on all my quilts. I find that it frames your quilt like a frame complements a picture.

I agree with feline fanatic! This is a great quilt, and it needs a border to show it off. froggyintexas
