You know you are a quilter/sewer when you get up in the morning and you still have the pins in your pj's (chest area) you put there for "just in case" and forgot about it. (BTW I never get stuck either) .
You know you are a quilter when you go to the store with your wrist pin cushion on because you are so used to it, you forgot you were wearing it. (I've done that several times).

There is a tiny village up above town called BeeLog. It was a logging town until that petered out. The elemntary school is called Beelog Elementary and they have the log cabin block on the side of the school building.
I thought that was pretty cool.

Elle: The little town that we will be retiring to in the mountains of North Carolina DOES have quilts on the buildings and barns and such around town. Its possible with a grant for Handmade in America. They are wooden "quilts" and each one is usually a pattern special to that person. Like the realtor in town has the house block on their building! So even if you go to town and don't have time to stop at the quilt shop, you can still get an eyeful of quilts!

Lisa, Too funny. I was just saying to hubby. We really don't need this big bedroom just to sleep in and I'm considering moving us into the guest room, and he says " You want a bigger sewing room, eh?"
Yep, you know you are a quilter when you can't wait to have an empty nest so you have more room for sewing machines and cutting tables.
