Just had to share a moment from our day.

It's Beth's birthday, and we had just finished singing "Happy Birthday" to her and we were in the back room eating our birthday pie. (Yes, pie: apple crumb or blueberry... or a slice of both.)

Just then a customer came in, and after a brief discussion of who was going to interrupt their pie to wait on her, we decided to just go ahead and invite her to join the party!

Which she did, and told us about the plans she had for the Girl Scout fabric that she'd come for.

So... what can't you get at the chain stores? A birthday party and refreshments!

(She wanted to know whose birthday was next!)

Well... yes it was homemade, and there were a couple of slices left, but my daughter and three friends just stopped in on their way home from school.

    So much for the pie.

They made a dent in the chocolate box too.

(Yes we do allow customers to raid the candy stash.)

    Favorite,
You have a real location that I could visit? I thought you were just an online vendor. I get to your area a few times a year and my aunt and I hit every shop around. We will have to visit you next time.

I have been to the "store" , yes they are an internet based business, but they welcome anyone to come an shop in person. My family makes it an "outing" to go. Great staff , lots of selection, and prices are very good. Just a note .. I thought my sister was going to have a heart attack when she turn one of the stacks and there was just about every Hoffman Christmas fabric, we all just had to pause and just stare. It was a spectacular vision. Needless to say we were all on a fabric high when we left.

You're all welcome to come visit!

Being mostly an online store, we're allowed to set our hours to suit our lives... meaning that we get to keep "bankers hours" of 9-5 weekdays.

I'm seriously going to have to restock the chocolate box... those girls had a whole plastic cup FULL of empty candy wrappers!

I think all the peanut M&M's are gone...

    Favorite,
Don't worry about restocking for me - I don't like chocolate (I know, I'm weird).
