I got my Pfaff 130 sewing machine in it's maple cabinet for $5 at an auction. Both the machine and cabinet are in pristine condition!

I got the quilt top at an auction for $2.

I found the baby quilt at Goodwill for $3. It is hand appliqued and hand quilted. I *had* to rescue it!

I'm always getting stuff at yard sales and auctions, but these two purchases were prob. my best deals!

A Singer 185J for $20, figured I could always sell it, but turns out I used it, take it with us when we go south for the winter. (It is small but not lightweight).

My latest was a garbage bag full of jeans for $1.00. The best part is that I've already washed and cut them up! We're good to go...someday.

I've had some really great finds. But, I think my best one was this last year. I bought a 25 lb. bag of fat quarters, yardage and scraps-all LQS quality and manufacturers for $1.00.

I found this prize at a resale shop for $5. She works great and is stored away for teaching my granddaughter how to quilt.

A box full of stuff for a $1.00 at an auction. In the box was a bag of Sun Bonnet Sues. They were all vintage fabric and feed sack fabric. The edges were all basted under ready to applique. I'm working on the a little at a time, appliquing them with the blanket stitch. There were 38 altogether. They are going to make an awesome looking quilt.
