Well, I'd just decided to make new Christmas stockings for my girls and my BF girls/significant others.........

But I hadn't planned on doing it from my stash (insert whine!) - have you seen all the new Christmas prints just coming out?

Oh well........I'm in!

although I've just recently turned my actions to the actual quilting, I've been collecting fabrics for a couple of years now; yard sales, estate sales, etc. About 4 months ago gathered all the fabrics, yarns, etc and moved them into one room: my sewing room. I now have a pathway to work in (u shaped) and work on a L shaped table (way to small of an area as I've recently discovered). Good news is that the three bedrooms upstairs (one being my room) will soon be two. Connecting wall between the two small rooms is coming down and I will be taking over what is currently the master bedroom. When? Before Nov. for sure. :) :)Then I'll be organized, I hope :?

I like this -- I have some lovely fabrics that really need to be made into something and have a good home.

My sewing room is very organized. And so are the dozen or so large clear totes full of fabric in my garage!!! I know exactly where everything is. (I think)

I just had my LQS, less than a mile from me, close on Saturday. I have since collected a couple hundred more yards of fabric. Had to do a little rearranging of the fabric cabinets and totes (added 3 more 64 qt totes)
