    It might be fun to start something Christmasy/Winter in August so it could be finished for October or November.

    You can shop Marshalls Dry Goods on line and through Amazon. I know, I like to feel the fabrics too, but on line is at least one way to get stuff cheap.

    LOL! Just got excited with that one!!! BTW, I'm going to be doing a Christmas in July swap in July. 6-1/2" squares. Sign up will be up in a couple of weeks. :)

    Ive got the ok from mods for the rest of the year..
    And here's the list for the rest of the year..

    July 2011
    Stars & Stripes Forever..... with a potholder side..
    Any stars or stripe fabric - any color any combination..
    the side is a usable handmade/homemade potholder of swappers choice, any design, any pattern, any color, any size- only requirement is that it is usable potholder..

    Aug 2011-
    Feeling blue 'cause I'm missing you.. With side of sunshine
    any shade of blue fabric.. any for the twist any shade of yellow fabric

    Sept 2011
    Black & white.. with a lil grey..
    Any black with white fabric or white fabric with black.. and the twist is any shade of grey fabric

    Oct is still kinda iffy.. any suggestions would be welcome..

    Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
    any winter/holiday fabric..

    Dec 2011
    Winter break for me.. NO swaps... until January and it will be
    Stash busters..

    Jan 2012
    Stash Busters....
    Any fabric you have in your stash.... NO HOLIDAY, no flannel, no homespun fabric

    Ooops, I posted on the other thread that Fall or harvest with all the browns/oranges/rusts/pumpkins/squash of that season might be nice. I don't have any of that type of fabric. I'm not really into halloween fabric, but do like autumn colors.

    Also, I remember a discussion about landscape fabrics...

    No problem- had to get the ok from Mods first before I can post anything..

    OK so far ideas for October are:
    Pink- October is Breast Cancer Awareness month
    Fall colors: rustish-orangy-brownie colors
    Brights- Sunglasses wearing colors..

    Keep the ideas comin!!
