I hope she posts the whole row soon. The one block is stunning. So much better than mine. I'll probably get the whole quilt back and decide the my row needs to be reworked in order to match you guys fantastic stuff.

Okay, here are the other 4 blocks. Well I have learned that I don't cut very accurately and I am horrible at sewing a 1/4" seam. I don't know how many times I ripped out thread and resewed these blocks and they still aren't measuring exactly like they should. I am making it work but I really wanted it to be great. Sorry, I am a complete Newbie. I do think I got a little better by the end. When we are done with everyones row I should be WAY better. :)

Those are gorgeous blocks, Amanda. They are so rich looking. And they look well put together to me. And as always, practice makes perfect. Some of us have been practicing for a long, long time and still aren't perfect, but we have fun doing it. And it doesn't have to be perfect to look good. Just enjoy what you're doing and ask for help if you need it.

Those are some really nice blocks. I know exactly what you mean by ripping and resewing. Sometimes my edges get so frayed that I just have to recut the whole block. Thanks for the pics to give us a clue. Two of my blocks I had done for you, my granddaughter did something with them. I'll either find them or redo them.

Judy G. A pic of a block for you!!! I hope you can see it okay. I am fussy cutting the diamond border and then had to sit and figure out the size for the muted purple. I hope you like it. I am going out now to try and do the sun. (I sew on my porch right now.) Maybe more pics before the night is through.

Boop, I really like the diamond border. From here it looks like a woven basket, very neat effect.

I haven't sewed all of the blocks together yet. I have decided to recut and resew one of the blocks. It is just coming up too short. I am glad I have enough fabric to do it. :)

My goal is to have this in the mail on Monday morning. So good or bad, it will be done this weekend! :)
