It will be really cold, upper 20's to 30's, until Friday and then it's suppose to get up into the 50's for the weekend. Of course this is Texas and that could change in the next few minutes. lol

QuilterMomma-how long have you been doing longarm quilting?........you sure are a busy girl with all the quilts, quilting and swaps in the works......went to the archives last night(quilts for quilters 2012)....all I can say is WOW, what a beautiful display of creativity by everyone. I'm always drawn to the simpler patterns, but really appreciate the intricacies in some I've seen..........an early swap is a possibility if you like..friend will do LAQ.

Just a quick update - - - my swap buddy and I are all set. I mailed my 'stuff' to her and I'm slicing and dicing through a bunch of stash. I am making a floral log cabin and Kathleen is finishing one of my UFO's. This is gonna be soooo cool. Thank you!

Yes, you definately are going in the right direction!! I love the colors. Your rose is beautiful, yellow roses are my favorite. Do you grow alot of roses? The water looks good, but isn't it cold??? Of course, kids don't think so, they will be blue and still say they arn't cold LOL..
Hopefully, I will be able to put on some pictures of your sqs. tomorrow, Babe, will be going deer hunting again and I will have some time of my own. Pass my bedtime, until tomorrow, good nite to all.

Excited to see what everyone is doing. Waiting on a box from my partner (jclinganrey) and I can get started looking through my stash. We're doing something a little different in that she had this quilt she liked and had started and like the rest of us, life got in the way. Anyway, it's been sitting - until now. It's on its way to Tennessee and I'll see what I can do to put some life into it and get it back to its rightful owner. The only thing different from the rest of you - is the pattern was pretty well decided for me. No brain farts here!! (can I say that?)
