Teri, I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences as you grieve your Mom's passing. She will leave a hole no one else can fill, but you do have a happy reunion to look forward to! We will all be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

I just returned from a mini vacation to find two squishies in the mail! I had not been keeping up with my e-mail so I didn't know that the May birthday list was out. Nice surprise! Thank you to Patrick's Mom (Shannon) and Lets Quilt (Pat) for the beautiful and calorie free candy.

Daisey Dew, thank you for the kind wave!! Enjoy your visit to our snowy state. Please know that it was 72 degrees just a few short days ago. I was able to kidnap my Mom from her nursing home and take her out for lunch at a local ice cream restaurant. Stick around, sunny days are coming.

I thought about mailing out all of the May birthday candies today, but then decided not to add to the temptation to those who's birthdays happen later on in the month. I will keep everyone posted when their candies have been mailed.

So sorry teri, it is not easy. Lost my mother 19 years ago but think about her everyday and the memories are wonderful.
Sent my May candies out today to the other b-day ladies.
Received today from quilterjody, happylab, sewbizgirl ( my sponsor for this swap), moonrise, and norabee. Thank you ladies. I'm having a hard time not opening these.....trying to wait until May 1
