thanks for all the check ins and the updates on presents received. That makes me happy.

DJMat the "civil defense sirens" sound scary!!!

Sewbizgirl....The kids that I nanny are avid readers. (the family does not own a TV) They really loved the CS Lewis books. I have considered reading them....but my "to read pile" is taller then me!

Travelinggramma.....where are you now.....hope you enjoying being on the road and hope you get to visit the many quilt shops that will be in the "row by row experience".

Hope everyone stays safe in this very crazy weather. All these floods make me think that snow is not that bad!

Hi everyone, big wedding doings here! My son gets married tomorrow. What a happy day that will be! We are thrilled with our new DIL. Will check back with you all after the wedding.

all candies are now sorted and green wins !

Sorry to scare you! Thought if I called them klaxons nobody would know what I was talking about. The sirens defend us from all kinds of disasters, especially the tornadoes here in eastern OK, aka tornado alley! Found my winter light in the garage so my ivy may survive these gray days, still raining here, ugh!
