Great quilt SBG! Your daughter's neighbor is going to love it. Your granddaughter may not let you give it to them, however. She is so beautiful!!!

Thanks for the update, Traveliggramma. Getting a little nervous here. Sent mine out on three weeks ago. Will wait patiently until your return home. But will have an extra package ready to go it needed. Safe travels.

This is rotten. I don't like that the post office has lost my package to Travelinggramma.

I do wonder why the post service is losing so much mail nowadays. The covid excuse has worn off now. I was speaking to the head of our local post office and she agreed that it is ridiculous how many packages are being reported missing or undelivered.

Swappers, I don't want anyone to feel they will be penalized by the delays stemming from our postal service. As a group this year's swappers have been marvelous at submitting on time. Let's all wait until Travelinggramma returns home and can check her mailbox again. Some more packages may still arrive before August 28th, mine included.

The September list will be out on the 20, the earliest birthday is the 18th, so we should have plenty of time to fill mailboxes with quilting candy.

Big breath and enjoy this wonderful summer day. Think of January and revel in the warmth of August.

So the grand idea was that I would be able to see what mail I received in my mailbox via the USPS app. Well needless to say it doesn't seem to read half my mail - either yours or regular. My neighbor who watches the house is a bit scattered and may not have mentioned to me what exactly she is receiving although I wrote the list and explained it to her. So that being said - do not stress out!! We know when you all sent them as that is why it is posted - and I will be back before my birthday (although we are still sitting at campground waiting for Fred to pass by). It is all good.
I appreciate your patience on my travels!

I would suggest NOT sending out second packages. Just give the P O extra time to deliver. These are not normal times, for whatever reason.

I had to send back someone's second shipment to me, once the original one showed up, and it was an unnecessary expense on postage. Just be patient....

Hope everyone is having a good week. My heart feels heavy for what is going on worldwide and in our country too. Sewing is a great thing to focus on, especially sewing for someone in need.

I'm excited - I may be getting my sewing room back this weekend! DH got the sink all hooked up today so the only thing left it to move the fridge to it's proper spot and then I can move the sewing cabinets back where they belong and clean up stuff and have room to sew again!

This pic was taken before the countertop was put in place -
