It's amazing how many gorgeous batiks are out there. They remind me of gemstones.

Regal/royal batiks, I'm so impressed with yours that arrived today! Thank you all for swapping fabric & the sweet extras & perfect little gifts! Hopefully I'll get resettled by the fall & can rejoin Red's awesome swaps!

Here are some Delectable Mountains made with batiks. I made them using Jenny Doan's method, but started with charm squares. Make 2 HST's then cut those into 3 strips instead of 4. I like to mix up the fabrics instead of putting all the same fabrics back together. You can play with the layout as well.

Does everyone see the mug rug in Faintly's post above me? WELL!
Let me just say, she had my name for a Secret Pal Swap a few months ago and she included this as one of my surprises. It graces my desk at work (and I get many compliments on it). I am staring at it in the pic AND on my desk at the same time! It's lovely!

Thanks to everyone for the beautiful batiks. I love them all.
I will have to check my fabric to see if I have enough aqua to participate. I am really working at using
my stash and not buying fabric except for backings, etc.
