OOH! I love teasers! Tomorrow is the big shipping day! I can't wait to see!
Well, I got the official word today. I'm going back to work. I've thoroughly enjoyed being off the last 6 months, even though my bills haven't. I'm going back to work for a company I worked for 4-1/2 years ago, but in a division that isn't nearly so busy as where I was before. My new supervisor had 3 people working for her, and the day I interviewed was the last day for 2 of them. The 3rd is 70 and put off her retirement because the other 2 were leaving, so she will be leaving soon too.
The one thing I'm most worried about though is my health insurance. The company is based out of Florida, and last time, even though I had group coverage before and shouldn't have had a pre-existing condition period, they said I had to have one anyway because my prior coverage was not in Florida. I sure hope they've changed that by now. I was adding up expenses for taxes and my out of pocket for this year was over $3800 between my foot surgery, physical therapy, kidney stones, and prescriptions (I don't have anything prescribed daily either).
OK, time to go get fabric out of the dryer so I can put more in! This playmat isn't going to make itself!

We will hope you dont have to do it Stitchinpost but well there is always a handy dandy needle and sewing by hand (oh fun you say lol) .. at least your willing to work as hard as you can to get it out. This is wonderful to hear and your partner will be one happy camper. I am praying no one gets left off this time. Do we have any quilt angels who can help Anastasia out if she needs someone to make an emergency runner for someone who will be sad without their mail box saying TADA HERE I AM! while the others get something marvelous.. anyone? just PM her (your welcome Anastasia) and let her know you can help. I am committed to a bunch right now and time is never enough for me. I have one runner to come but feel fortunate that I already was lucky enough to receive a great runner. Its so pretty and so timeless.
The next runner trade a way! should be awfully fun. Jaba I think you need to try the circle runner with your spiral tool. They come out so pretty too.. then you could get addicted to those, then I could get one if I sent you large sums of money and well fabric and the voodoo doll turned her head just a little away from it for a while... look a puppy!
off to do dishes apparently the house maid did not show up.. where is that little chit? probably on the internet again.

my partners zip totals 32. hmmm and it will go to the post office tomorrow the 15th. A spring or summer/birds/picnic theme might be nice too for the next one. Post has not delivered any runners here either. This was my first and I enjoyed it. love having a few small things to do in between quilts and oh yea, I gotta go do dishes too Elisa.

I had a dish fairy lol. Ok my hubby did them. I told him I was stalling in a funky mood cranky no reason tired and pooky he says no problem I can do them. turn my head twice.. excuse me? he made me dinner recently unheard of now he offered and did the dishes. wow. lotto winner here. He is so bored the lake is frozen. He hasnt fished in four weeks. its killing him day off work cant fish. its too cold to sit outside and ponder life so he is inside. I will hope for warmer weather soon.

I am not currently worried about anyone flaking out on their end in this swap. Well.. mostly because I'm a whip cracker and I have been harassing the heck out of everything periodically so I've been kept abreast of their situations. I have also tried to notify those who might be expecting a late arrival, though I think I need to check on that and make sure i did. I know I notified one (stitch's) but I think there's 2 others that may be arriving a little late. Eh that's for tomorrow. My truck died and stranded me at work tonight so I didn't get home for at least an hour later than I should have, so there blew my free time to do what I wanted to do and class in the A.M. so off to bed I go. Wish I had a dishes and cleaning fairy. Dishes mostly. My least favorite thing to do. Like I would even clean litter boxes before I would willingly do dishes. Mostly because of my great dislike for my kitchen and everything within it and the cruddy slow flowing sink faucet.

LaQuita, could be mine - Lavenders are just a shade or is it hue of Purple, My favoritest color of all. Brat, your house elf is probably off somewhere with mine cause my dishes pile up for a bit, too. I don't mind dishes, but always wait until there's at least 3 or 4 before I run some water to do them. Hubby loves the dishwasher, but I prefer hand. Oh, well. I'd really rather find someone in 2013 who will come in and clean and dust so I can just enjoy my sewing room. But, that'll never happen - well, if I won the lottery...
