April 2016 Postcard Swap
#231
I love the mountain card for Earth Day...lovely scene!
Betty sent me some Beauty which arrived 2 days ago, first chance I've had to take pics/post is this morning. Honestly, I got tears in my eyes, especially when I saw the back, and the butterfly stamp. Has that ever happened to anyone else? Between Judith's card last month and Betty's this month, I feel as if I won the lottery.
Betty also sent a butterfly pin (!!!), tasseled bookmark, and flowers she made - the one has iridescent fabric petals - this is spring, for sure. <3 I've redacted the addresses with flowers...

Carol, I am pleased that my postcard eventually made it to your place and I am also very pleased that you are happy with what I sent you. I love the challenges that these themes give me to search out what I can do. I love doing them and I get immense pleasure to send them where they are appreciated. I hope you enjoy the flowers, butterfly and bookmark. I like to add complimentary bits and pieces to suit the theme also. The iridescent flower has Mylar paper between the organza layers and the daisy has Angelina fibre between the two organza layers. I am new to this kind of experimentation but I am enjoying it. Quite a lot of embroidery designs lend themselves to these different paper and fibres.
