WMUTeach...watch out I'm just down 94 I will be over with my fork ready for some peach pie!!!!
I too have been working on other "quilty" projects but not with our sweet little candies. I have been working on 8 quilts this spring/summer, four are baby quilts (three finished except for names) and the other four quilts are for my colleagues and need to be finished by December.
My quilting frenzy will end very soon because the fall semester at the university will open and I will be returning to my normal working schedule. I love my job but it certainly cuts into my quilting time! I have so enjoyed lurking on everyone's vacation fun, birdie squares and other life adventures this summer.
.....Oh yes, I froze peach pies yesterday. I just love bringing out a hot summer pie when the snow is piled up and the wind is whistling through the trees. A little taste of summer in January is perfect! Anyone want to come over for pie this winter?

Hi everyone...back home from camping again! and trying to catch up on work. I have been playing too much lately!
Our camping trip was fun, but it took over 8 1/2 hours to drive to Wisconsin. Redstiletttos not sure where you are I was in Rochester WI (near Racine). It is a beautiful area. We went out there for a graduation party. It was fun because both of my kids where there with their families.
just checking in.................

barbara: Racine is only about 90 minutes or so south of me Yes.....I realize I am biased, but I do believe Wisconsin is a beautiful state. If you think the southern part is pretty, you should see central and north. Takes your breath away! So glad you had a nice time with family. Playing is always more fun than working

Redstilettos, my MIL still lives in WI so we get there on a regular basis. She is toward the lake Michigan side near Manitowoc. I will agree WI is a beautiful state, just like MN; and the Northern part is better than the southern.

Anonka: I get to Manitowoc every so often. I'll have to find out if there are any quilting stores along the way....maybe we can meet for lunch some time when you get here
How close are you to the SR Harris stores near the twin cities? I went there once and spent over 9 hours in there....it was sensory overload....but wow the deals there!
