I love lilacs and tulips. Just wish they lasted longer and didn't come out at the same time. Also wishes the deer wouldn't eat my tulip bulbs. Ugh!

Either way...a breath of fresh air for we northerners!

My favorite flower is iris, also in the new tattoo with the hummingbird.

I've always loved red geraniums... especially the smell of the leaves when you rub them.

I was blessed to live in Hawaii in my young adulthood, a veritable explosion of beautiful flowers, year round. Hibiscus and plumeria were favorites, as well as bird of paradise and the hedges of poinsettias that would explode red in the fall/winter.

My favorite plant is a Mister Lincoln Rose. I had 20 year old ones that were killed off a few years ago in a very cold spell. I replanted last year but they're not quite as nice, but I'm working on them. The aroma is out of this world. Ahhh.

My favorite plant is very hard to choose. Can I pick a tree? Catalpa trees are my favorite because of the giant leaves that are lighter green than other trees, and big beautiful white flowers in June, and long "bean pods" just because they're cool.

Yesterday I went to a new Quilt shop and picked up the Florida Register. found out that there is a Florida Quilt Museum and that this Saturday they are having an outdoor and indoor quilt festival. It's in DH and I will be there - anyone else want to meet up??
Favorite flowers are lilacs and lily of the valleys. We had both in our backyard and it isn't Mother's Day without lilacs.

I love a moon flower. It is a hearty plant. It grows from a seed into a nice round shrub and blooms only at night, a large white flower, almost like a lily.

We used to have a huge moonflower at our old house, on our back deck. And oh, how fragrant!
