Okay ladies Today is the day!
Few more things to cut:
from the 9 3/4" ....cut these squares twice diagonally so that you get 4 triangles from each square. Label them.
from the 7" square.....cut these squares once diagonally that you have 2 triangles from each square. Label them.

So I need to pick up my grandchildren today so I will put the directions on and try to come on the board periodically today to answer all the questions.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This quilt is assembled "on point"' which means that instead of sewing rows of blocks in a straight line, you sew diagonal rows. Use the quilt diagram to lay the blocks out before you start sewing them together. The quarter-square triangles (from the 9 3/4 squares) go around the outside edges and the half-square triangles (7") go on the corners. All of these triangles are somewhat larger than you need so that you can trim the edges and square up your quilt once you are done.

some pointers:
I laid everything out on my large table.
I then picked a corner. Build from that corner.
assemble one row at a time. sew each row after you assemble it to the last row. This will make sure everything is in the right place.
This is the first time I made a quilt on point! My quilt is not yet finished but hope to have it done after the weekend. (I have Cooper 4 and Addy 2) until Saturday night. So I do not plan on getting a lot of sewing done.
