Barb, I don't pay attention to a list, in order to take anyone off of the swap. I just watch my private messages (otherwise known as pms) lol. I send to the people you give me an address for... Maybe you could remind us during the month that it happens... thanks

moving right along....next step in the Mystery Quilt

    Step 5

You will need for this step:
    4 .... 2.5 x 4.5 rectangle of background fabric
    8....of your "rows of 3"
    4 ... 2.5 square

sew on the 2.5 side of the rectangle 1 2.5 square
then add a row of 3 on either side

    Make 4 of these

So that was a really fast one so we are going to also do step 6 of the Mystery quilt

    you will need:

    8....."3 in a rows"
    8.... "2 in a rows"
    8 single 2.5" squares
8 ....1/2 square triangles that were cut in half from your 7" background square

    sew a 2 row to a 3 row
add a 2.5 on the bottom of the 2 row

should look like this: (remember my photo's are always sideways)

this will continue on the next post

Okay we are almost ready to put our Mystery together!!!!!

so everyone should have the following blocks made:

    9 block....28
    6 block.....20
    8 block.....4
    triangle block...8

if you want to get started/catchup/ or need direction here are the post numbers for each step:

    step1: 617 rows of 3
    step 2: 808 9 patch
step 3: 969 cutting background fabric
    step 4: 1097 making 6 patch
    step 5: 1214 making 8 patch
step 6: 1215 making triangle blocks

One more step and then assembling/ sewing your quilt together will be July 26th. yeah!

Happy Birthday to Anoka Quilter and TexasTam! Hope you got loads of candy to play with!

Thanks for the clues in the mystery, Barb. I'm glad you gave us plenty to do! Can't imagine how these are going to come together yet. It's a mystery!

Ladies...I just opened all my cards and they are just wonderful! The candies are fabulous!

I went through each candy and it took me 3.5 hours. Phew. I picked out one candy out of each set and I am going to make a small wall hanging out of this particular bunch I chose.

They are all put away in storage container already too!

I wanted to thank each of you for making my birthday so fun!!!

I received one today from givio. Thank you! Looks like I am waiting on 4 and my big day is Saturday. I will be running an open house that day, I might even take them with me to have something to do if it is slow!

Last of the envelopes of candy treats went in the mail today! Yippee. I won't bore you with my sob story and adventure with envelopes but they are all "in the mail". Now, next step is to get ready for August, September, October ...... All cut but I could put them in envelopes now. Why didn't I think of this before. Duh, silly me.
