Birthday Swap 2018/2019 New

Jaba don't worry about not getting stuff out on time, or at all. There will be times when you may not have the energy to even watch tv, let alone worry about our silly candies.
Let Hubby take care of you. If nothing else, put him in charge of keeping track of your appointments. That was what mine did.
Regarding radiation therapy, start in from the first with an aloe-based sunburn gel after each session. I didn't, until several days in, and the area got pretty badly burned. 3 1/2 years later, I still have a tanned rectangle on my chest that is most likely permanent. (But on the bright side, I no longer have to shave my right armpit!)

Faintly Artistic, It goes to show the smart phone is not so smart. We've joined the modern age... I heard they don't teach children to write cursive anymore. I said 'cursive' to someone who was younger recently, and she didn't know what the word meant. Maybe it's not just phones, maybe vocabulary in is the toilet. Maybe we will be trading vocabulary for push buttons and acronyms before long. :-p

Jaba, As has been said by others, don't stress out about the candy swap. Things can happen, in many different ways, to change what we can do throughout a year. If you cannot think about completing the swap, or your husband forgets to do a task for you, or whatever, it's absolutely okay with me. If you want, it's nice to hear if you are doing a little bit of sewing, or chatting about whatever, on this thread or that one, now and then, if you can manage it, or if not, that's okay. Take it easy, and do what you can to get well again.

jaba, I'm so sorry to hear about your cancer. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will kick it's butt! Don't worry about anything else, just doing what you need to in order to get well. I hope you'll feel up to checking in with us from time to time. Don't even think about our candies. If you're in any other swaps, I'm sure they feel the same way but if for whatever reason you need help with something please just let me know and I will do it.

I'm not a member of this swap this year, but Jaba, I am praying for you. I can't imagine anyone being upset at your not being able to fulfill your commitment, under the circumstances. Just put all of your energy into beating this cancer. We are all part of your team!

Jaba, prayers going out to you during this treatment. Hope you will remain strong and have positive outcomes. Many of us have been thru this ordeal, and please know that we wish you well, too.
