Hello everyone My name is Maxie and I am retired Military (Army). After I retired I started quilting so I am still quite new. I have one Daughter and 3 grandkids and they live with me. I am excited to be a part of this swap, I started cutting my candies today and got quiet a few of them cut. I participate in several swaps on the board and am currently hosting a block swap that is about to finish up in February. Any colors are fine with me. Thank you Jaba for the recommendation to participate in the swap.

I am Audrey Borning from MN. I work as a Hotel Manager at a Casino Hotel and I also long arm for Customers. I have been quilting for 11 years and have been long arming quilts for 7 years. I have one son, one daughter and a step daughter and they all live out of state. I do not have much time to actually piece many quilt tops each year. Most of them that I make, I give for gifts to family members. I enjoy going to 2-3 Quilt Retreats each year. I enjoy making quilts with assorted scrappy 2 1/5" squares and this will be the second year for me in this swap. My birthday was just January 14 and I haven't opened my candy packages yet. I am still waiting on one to come in the mail and then I will enjoy opening them all. I am happy to see all the return swappers and welcome all the new swappers.

Okay, I have to tell y'all what just happened. I'm at my makeshift cutting area, with a bunch of stacks of fabric candy all cut. My husband walks by and says, "that's going to be a cool quilt!" I told him it was for a swap. He said,"Yeah, women are very different. You think it's fun to cut up little bits of fabric and trade them with strangers! I'm going to go kill zombies..." Just wondering who the weird one is here...
