Any. It's been years since I have PP'd but want to return. I have purchased two classes on PP with Carol Doak, one is just PPing and the other is for PP stars. Sometimes a fabric isn't right for a star pattern, in that case it will be another block. There are so many patterns for PPing, not necessarily stars.

I think I am confused, are you wanting to receive PP blocks or are you planning on making PP blocks?

UFO update, all the row backs are now joined. Now when I get home to sew them to the quilt body and then join the backs. Just 3 long seams sewn twice, (a utility and a decorative) then joined on the back, after that it is just boarders. (but still have to make the back side boarder)

I am trying to figure out if I want to add a quilting star where the sashings meet. This is my dilemma, what I love about the layout is the illusion of 3D you get w/ the color of the sashing, but if I quilt a star where they meet I'm afraid the illusion will be broken?

I am planning to MAKE PP blocks. I asked because there are those that do not like PP'd blocks.

Why do people not like pp blocks? I REALLY appreciate them. I think they are harder to make, more intricate, wonderful designs, and show a real dedication from the person who makes them.

Di, I've wondered this myself. (Note to self: learn how to do pp.)

FYI, In a couple of weeks, I'm going to take down the Boom 11 Gallery so if anyone wants to check it out, now's your chance. The URL is below in my signature along with Booms 12 and 13.

Also, we need a name for each group. Anyone have any ideas???

Oh it would never have occurred to me that someone wouldn't like / want PP. For me and my fabric I am open to whatever techniques anyone feels spunky, feisty, or big enough to do. lol lol lol The ones I am making for you guys I will try and stay in the box for, unless you specify I can go crazy, out of the box.

The garden dreaming block is my most outside the box idea I have, and it involves some regular, some (maybe applique) and some 3D, if my original idea will work.
