I think Billi summed it up rather well with everyone's blocks. So ditto.

Bee glad you're able to see your grandkids & spend that much time with them. I'm sure you're creating lasting memories! So as far as the Thanksgiving side swap, but due date are you thinking? Let me know. Sounds intereing.

FlowerG, Bee's block is very pretty love the colors you used, so glad you are having a good time hopefully you will want to come play again.

Muse, great bird house I considered that, yours is awesome.

Terri, your blocks for Jaba are so soft, I love the wine color in Bee's and the train bear paw variation is cool too I am so glad that its not just me that is "forced" into a variation block due to some kind of operator error.

Biblistone cool planet fabric and your pinwheel looks like its spinning so what ever it is suppose to be what you did is great.

Bee, very pretty blocks and how awesome for you that you have the time with your daughter and her family take your time with them and enjoy every minute of it. I hate being 500 miles from my youngest I can't image what 10 thousand miles is like. No matter how proud we are of them and how excited we are for their lives deep down we want them closer to us. I know you will love and appreciate any block I make right now its about getting it right and not letting that 12' piece of fabric win. hahahahaha So Thanksgiving side swap is interesting What are you thinking?

Good grief I have been working on Kassandra's block for hours. Why in the world I thought I could change a paper pieced pattern around a bit and make a rocket is beyond me.

TGma, love the block, the shooting star is awesome, and adding Hedge's name is so thoughtful. (that is the nick name I call him he is really Harvard Edgley III, but his dad and gpa took all the nick names before him) lol

Billi, I'll post a pic of the la pass tomorrow hopefully, I am at work today.

Terri,

What a fun block you created! Pulls me in....and makes me think about the space around us. Great idea! In fact all the blocks made for Kass are great. You've all got me thinking about what I am going to do for Kass.......huuuuummm!

TG.........talk about what can happen when you don't catch up on the previous posts.....I have had my DH on a mission to find out if there is a planet, comet, extraterrestrial or galaxy named "Hedge". .....he is still determined to find the answer. Hahahahaha! I think I will wait to see what he comes up with!

I started with just the rocket and made it going at an angle but there was too much background. Thought why not have the rocket passing by a star, so ripped it apart and much happier with the block now

Talk about excited look what I brought home tonight. The bugaboo is it will just be sitting here teasing me for at least a couple of months. Have to wait for the garage to be built and we can move things around
