Thanks so much, TG! I struggled with the colors and those 8 1/2 inch pieces on the outside wanted to s t r e t c h so you'll need to be careful when you work with it. I'm glad you are pleased!

Another one down another one down another one bites the dust..... What? no Queen fans?

Ibex this one is for you after I got this done I had a pretty good size masks left but not enough of my really bright brights that worked so I played a bit and made this its amazing how toned down it became. I don't hate it but I do like the first one better.

GramE, Thanks for the tutorial! Love your block & your creativeness.

here is the link to making a 4 patch kaleidoscope square. http://www.connectingthreads.com/tut...lock__D20.html. the only issue that may present itself is does the fat eighth have enough repeat pattern to get 4 similar squares. I got 3 exact repeats & one pretty close in each square. I was only about an inch from having 4 repeats which is what I needed.

the problem it only comes out at 5 1/4". I put the blue in the middle and it was ok, but being the ADD person I am I like to keep trying. I remembered how I put a little star on a block from a Jinnie Beyer pattern & got those templates out and jiggered this one, after remove 8 seams, into having a star! I'm liking my little "template" folder more & more.

Billi love the song! Nothing like memory lane! Great job with your blocks for Ibex. It always amazing me how much color can change a block. Fun variety.

PLEASE remember to SHRINK your photos! Some of us, myself included, have trouble with these pages when there are multiple large photos. I don't want to discourage photos but please figure out a way to take smaller photos. It's not the actual size of the picture on the page, but the size of the file. Some of my photos appear large but they are usually about 200 kb or smaller. Thank you!

So this is it for me for a bit. Ive got four more blocks to make; I won't forget. I've already neatened up my sewing room and put the big items away so no sewing for me for a couple of weeks. I like seeing it tidy but it won't last long.

I love it! It's perfect just the way it is. Thank you for making me such a pretty block. Enjoy your company.

Pssssst...(Hey Girls, While the cat's away and all that good stuff!) Heh, heh, heh
