Haven't forgotten you ladies, I just really have to finish this customer quilt. It's on the quilting table now so hopefully tomorrow I get it all quilted and the binding sewn on so I can do the hand sewing on the binding. Time consuming for sure, this is a big quilt, 100" X 100".....then onto the blocks again.

Do any of you own the book, 5500 Quilt Block Designs by Maggie Malone? I just bought it and was surprised to find it only contains illustrations of the blocks, and names... no instructions on how to make them.

If anyone owns the book, how do you use it? For identification purposes, only?

Here is a block for MJPencinitas. The pattern is called Irish Chain, but I thought it looked like a Hawaiin Lei. It was fun to make, I have a wedding quilt I need to do, I think I'm going to use this block for it.
