I have it sew but like you I was really disappointed. IF you are good at figuring out square sizes etc it would be ok to use but I haven't opened it in years. It was one of the lst books I bought and Ive NEVER used it to make a block. Nice pictures though.

Yeah, I'm finding out you have to draft your own blocks from it. I can do that with a lot of them, but a lot more are complicated, have curves, etc. It's a great idea book, but not a pattern book.

Here's my block for JayneW. It's a Christmas Star. Hope you like it, Jayne.

I love my block, b'stone!! What great colors.

Love the Christmas star too, Libster! Looks like a wreath around a star.

Bibliostone and Libster great blocks

H4b sounds like you are having fun with paper piecing. Do the patterns you have bought tell you what size to cut your fabric. Those are my favorites. I love Carol Doak patterns but you are on your own for figuring out the fabric sizes

Libster, I love the Christmas star block! Thank you! And Biblistone, I think your colors in are beautiful!

Been working this afternoon on Klaws' striped fabric, nothing to show yet, but getting close!
