The wreath is for Mollymunchkin. I've always wanted to make a big version of this quilt. I'll have to settle for this little block.

The purple flower on Klaws block was supposed to be for Kassandra. It didn't work with her fabric but I liked it on the stripes

This last block is for cheesehead.

The elephant block is for terriamn. It's definitely getting some embroidery on the square blue block with a flat elephant bead if that's all right with you Terri.

This block is for Marcialee. I thought maybe I should put some embroidery on the white part but I think it looks pretty clean the way it is. This is my first disappearing nine patch.

mjp, you've been busy! All of your block are just awesome! I really love my block with the flower. Thank you so much! I can't wait to see them all together. It's going to be a bright quilt.

Wow, waking up this morning to so many pretty blocks! Love, love, love the pansy block you made for me MJP!!!

Last night was my 50th high school class reunion, oh my what a culture shock! Browsing through the yearbook beforehand didn't prepare me to identify classmates, even the one's I thought I knew well. Everyone looked so old with white hair, missing hair and pear shapes. Probably myself included in their eyes. One gal looked exactly the same 50 years later, she is still a flight attendant for United. Of course the saddest part was the pictures of those we lost since graduation.

Cheesehead, I went through the same thing last year...my 50th reunion. It's funny how people change or not change. There are a few in my class that I don't think will ever change. We also gave tribute to those who are now gone. One in particular who has been in charge of the reunions and passed away just a week before the 50th reunion. That was the saddest part for me also.

Oh my love all the new blocks, each one is so special.

MJP the elephant is great and yes to the button and embroidery.

Think I'm down to 2 different blocks to choose between for Kass and just need to find the right cream fabric for Joan
Liz's block

Friday night we had a good ole fashion thunderstorm. Twice I screamed and flew off my chair. Hard to go to bed after all the noise.
