I use a cardboard circle, cut a piece of fabric bigger then the circle do a hand running stitch around the edge and pull tight over the circle and press the beegeebus out of it. Remove the cardboard (thin cardboard not the thick corragated stuff) after it cools, press again and spray w/ sizing and press again.

Sewbizgirl, I laughed when I saw you reworked the block. Good for you! You improved on an already pretty block.
