OH I love those two blue fabrics. Ideas are swirling around my head.

A question for those you who do side swaps. I am sending two fat eighths to Billie. Do you just send these in a regular envelope? I may need to use two separate envelopes. That seems to be the easiest.

I've seen the movie but now I'll have to read the book. Really enjoyed the redbird story.

I ususally sent 1 F8 and fold it and put in in a card like a greeting card, and send it w/ an extra stamp (I think it takes 40 ish cents) If I were sending 2 F8's I would send it in one of the small bubble envelopes.

I sent my 2 F8s to Billi in the small bubble envelope. Got them from the Dollar Tree-2 per pkg. Cost me $3.00 to mail with tracking included.

Kass, I first read the book on vacation in Arizona. We were in a cabin and dh and the boys had to come find me because they were wondering why I was laughing out loud. They could hear me from outside! At that point, I was reading about the funeral for the arm. I had tears streaming down my face. Haven’t read it in years. I wonder if I’ll find it so hysterical the next time.

Joan one step at a time

Wow sun is shining here and temp is in high 20’s but heard with the warm weather it is going to snow tomorrow.

Next door neighbor has his car parked in their driveway because our side of the street should be plowed today. Makes it a real problem for us to try and get in our garage. Took me 4 tries to get my car in and far enough to the left so dh has half a chance of getting his truck in. The more snow we have the harder it is. Love my car but definitely will get something smaller next time.

Looking forward to receiveing the F8s next week. I've been trying to finish my WIPs so I can devote my time to making blocks for this boom. Thank goodness I didn't get selected for jury duty. (I wouldn't mind a small trial, but this one was a big one). However, I just got invited to a baby shower for a very good friend and I must pop out a cute baby quilt by the 10th of Feb. (Thought I'd have a little more time, baby is due early April) Oh well....

A cool child's print and some fleece done w/ the fun and done technique can make a nice, quick soft baby quilt.
