That quilt was made stack and wack but both fabrics the wedges and the brown background were denim weight so I couldn't make the points behave so I raw edge appliqued w/ a zig zag stitch (just zig zag not satin) It also has a big surprise that might shock some of the new to the swap quilters, but those of you that know me won't be overly shocked, you've come to expect my "quirkiness" lol Here is a pic of the back.

Ive gotten some great ideas, now just getting around to it..

Default Brown Quilt Alert!

Joanelizbay, I just found this over on the 12.5 inch block swap. BattleAxe posted a beautiful brown quilt. It's here:
Spring churn dash 12.5 block swap

posted today 7:07 am, post #507. It's exactly the kind of quilt I'd like. Check it out.

Y dad use to smoke cigars, the cheaper the better and oh did they stink. Hubby has much taste, as a rule I enjoy the smell of his when we sit by the fire

I am debating... I bought a beautiful butterfly and dragonfly material to use, but now I am thinking if using solid colors and having everyone use black and white with the colors. I think that would be perfect for my son.

Need to make the decision.

I'm not surprised. Your leadership is awesome and the support this group gives one another is outstanding! Word is out.... everyone wants to play with the BOOMers!

Hi to all that I have met in here! I miss you and quilting but when things settle down, and my new job kicks in, I'll get to quilt again. BOOM 21 here I come! Stay healthy! Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas!
