GramE, beautiful block for Kassaundra. The "petals" are amazing. PamelaOry, great block for Hav. DH had to see the pup pix. He loves puppies although we've never had a dog who had pups. He just suggested one day we foster a pregnant female so he can experience it. I was lucky enough as a child to see puppies and kittens being born, he hasn't. One day, maybe. Congrats to Maggie.
JayneW, you're right, colors really change the entire feel of a block. Love the Halloween block! Nice job.
LJD, I'm glad your hand is improving. I hope you'll be sewing soon so you can join us for Boom 22. (Oops, I said it already. Guess I'll have to run 22 now.) It'll be a big change in a thousand different ways moving to the south from New England but it might be a change you come to love. I'm sure the warmer weather will bring some (all?!) of your family members to you during the cold winter months. Keep in touch!
You do such beautiful work Kass. Wonderful blocks Jayne! wow! These blocks are amazing, I guess I’ll keep the red white black theme going with this block for Hav4boys. It’s pussy in the corner from the around the block book..This is my first block for a long time as Maggie and her puppies have been keeping me busy. It felt great to have a chance to get into my sewing room again!
Heres Maggie with her litter, were calling them the scooby doo litter. Meet Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby.

Yay, finally time to work on Dune blocks! Three completed today, all the same pattern Kitty in the Corner from Patchwork Square.
1st for KLaws... I am really liking this red and white quilt.
Second is for DShannon. I had a little Halloween fabric that I think worked well.
And last is for Libster. Crazy how the same pattern looks so different with different color combinations.

Hi everyone! The blocks are amazing as always. I am doing well still not sewing but soon. I will be moving to South Carolina as soon as my home here sells. My husband has had health issues and we need to be in a no snow zone lol. It will be a big change leaving my kids and grandkids and New England that has been my whole life. At 65 years young it will be an adjustment but will be good for us. I will keep you all updated as things change will be doing the next boom!!!
