I know others have commented on the great blocks this Boom, but I just feel the need to add my comments too.
The blocks this Boom are over the top perfection! I love browsing in the Gallery and imagining how beautiful everybody's quilts are going to be. I like trying to pick a block that I think would be perfect for the centerpiece of the quilt. I think I have too much time on my hands. LOL
Another bit of news from my homefront…….I have decided to move into a Senior Apartment Facility. The upkeep here is getting to be a bit much for me to keep up with. You would think there was nothing to sitting on a lawn mower and riding around the yard. Man, I feel like I've been beat with a 2x4 when I cut it off and stand up! I've thought about this for quite a while now and decided this is what I want to do. I'm going to have to downsize like crazy. On the bright side, I will still be near my family if I need them. Anyway, my sewing machines are part of me, so they go where I go. I'll be signing my lease tomorrow, but I'm going to take my time moving.

Janice, as soon as I have the new address, I'll get it to you. Wish me luck, Ladies.

The mug rug you made along with others and some Boom remembrances are in my office and some are in my sewing room. They all make me smile.

Lol, JayneW. Funny!

joanlizbay, not sure about that younger (72 here) and I'm lacking in the energy part right now but it will come back. Not even sure where I'm going to put that machine but I will make room even if it's in the garage The lady gave me an awesome price for it that I just can't pass up and if something happens to me my grand daughter and step daughter both quilt so they will have a long arm machine.
QM good luck on your surgery, never a fun thing to go through but you are right "you can do it!" I've come to realize that the trials and tribulations we go through only make us stronger!

Kass, can’t wait to see the finished block. Looks fabulous.

Libster congratulations on your decision to downsize giving you less work and more time to sew.

QM wishing you a very successful surgery and quick recovery

One for PamelaOry.
As I look at this pic I took the top lines look a bit tipsy. Might be how it is hanging. Gonna have to go back and check that!

QM, when is your surgery going to be?

Libster, congrats on the new place to live! I always thought senior apartments would be a fun way to live, with friends all around. (Hopefully...) It will be great to get downsized and not have so much "stuff" to worry about. Not talking about fabric and machines, tho. They are essential to our happiness!

That's pretty, GramE! I love all the polka dots in her blocks.
