I really like the bright blue with indigo blocks. It is such a pretty quilt, SBG.

SewBiz, spritz IS THE cookie here. I’ve already made them twice, nothing to show for it. I have 9 cookie shooters and more parts than one person needs. They sell them on eBay for every price. The last time I checked it was from 99 cents to $365! My DIL is always on the lookout because she’s addicted.

I need to get serious about finding my mom's cookie shooter... I have seen them at flea markets for high prices.

My oldest son flies in Wednesday and we need to fit in a cookie making party along with a stocking making party. Let the good times roll!

Sad news here, son bought his ticket home for Christmas, his bosses boss held a meeting and no vacations for the holiday. Since he already had ticket he was going to double check but it’s not worth losing his job over. This will be the third year he hasn’T been able to come home. But glad he realizes his job is more important then 4 days home

What joy and love there is in all of you. We all like to make others happy!! And it is so good to have the chatter back - I also miss it. Loving the quilt. I can never recall what block I made and always have to go back to my file - am I the only one? I looked at GramE and totally didn't recall doing a pink block - well I didn't, I did the blue!!!
Final grocery shopping tomorrow - and run the vacuum and I am ready (yea, sure - just ready as I will ever be!)
May all your lights shine bright

I'm hoping to get to work on my Native Cubes quilt tomorrow, it will be the first sewing I've done in over a week. I survived my first day back at work yesterday, but man o man I was doubting my choice to go back at the beginning, 3 back to back serious calls.

TG, what a sweet post! (I did a blue block for GramE too...).

Kass, glad you are feeling better. Those serious calls are blessed to have you!

Terri, I'm so sorry your son won't be allowed 4 days off to come home. He must have a very vital job.

I found Mom's cookie press, so I will stock up on BUTTER and make spritz cookies. My daughter also requested more of the little pecan pie cookies I made last year, and I might make something else too. I can't wait to get to her house and put the two huge teddy bears I bought under the Christmas tree! I finished the two newborn outfits for the two baby girls as well, and wrapped them for their moms to open.

For the winter baby:

And for the Spring baby:

I bought Danish fabric and made knit leggings and headbands to go with the dresses. So much fun!
