Cheesehead, love your blocks. That star for Macybaby is one of my favorites! (Does that have a name?) The addition of the blue in the center pinwheel for NanaKathy55 is a nice touch. Love the fabrics you used in Mona G's. NanaKathy, I especially like yours for Mona G. Queenbarbiej, darling cupcake!

Thank you all for your efforts!

I love all these blocks being made and posted. QueenB, the cupcake is adorable!

This is a terrible confession, but today I absolutely must take down my Christmas tree!!! I should have done it months ago, I know, but I guess I'm just lazy. It looks so pretty yet I'll be setting it up again in about 10 months. Yikes! With Ash Wednesday next week, I really need to. Please tell me I'm not the only person to have ever left it up until March 1st!

I had a friend (now passed...) who loved Christmas so much that she left two Christmas trees up in her house, year round.

I have neighbors who still have their decorations up in their yards... that does get old!

Oh my gosh! That's too funny, NZ! I'm sure you aren't the only one. Some people like them up all year round. It's just I'm the one who puts it up Christmas Eve and is already itching to pull it down on the first of the New Year. When my boys were young, we'd put the tree up earlier for them but it was a huge concession for me to do it a week early. Your predicament makes me feel silly for having a tree for only one week! LOL

NZquilter mine is still up also. The only reason is my Christmas tree is 9 ft tall and it goes in the closet of my sewing room. The past few months it has been a catch all for everything. So last Sunday, Monday and Thursday evening I went through my entire sewing room (10x11) and rearranged everything. I told my hubby that it's coming down tonight.

I should have done it a couple of months ago but I wanted to sew instead.

I worry about my ornaments getting too dusty if the tree is left up too long! It's always sad to take it down.

That's a good point about dust. I hadn't really thought of that.
