It's raining in my neck of the woods, so I got to spend all day in my sewing room. I made blocks for Libster, Vikkim,Klaws, Marcialee

The photos above look a little washed out with the colors, I promise the colors do match what was requested.

Good Morning Ladies, I did not get the Part I wanted to play in the musical "Mamma Mia". When I went back for the Call backs there was so much fantastic talent. And I was one of the older ladies auditioning. All of the Men and other woman called back were at least 10 to 15 years younger than me. I was asked to be in the ensemble.

Good morning, Lstew. I hope you aren't too disappointed. Are you planning to join the ensemble then? Your blocks from your rainy day of sewing are beautiful!

Lstew your rainy day blocks turned out great

Sorry you didn’t get the part you were hoping for. Did you join the ensemble, bet you will have lots of fun participating in it.

Sun is shining here, a relatively rare event lately. The forecast is for another heavy snowfall this Thursday, ouch

I am recovering nicely, slow but steady.

Lstew, thank you for my block. I don't think I've seen that one before. I really like it.

Lstew, I think it is a compliment to be asked to be in the ensemble and I hope you are okay that you didn’t get the part. Fun to see the blocks you have made.

Here is the last one for me. I purchased two different reds to decide which best set off the fabric. Star in a star with fussy cutting for Janice because she adores stars. Those are the smallest flying geese I have ever made, 1.5” x 3” finished? Has anyone used flying geese this size or smaller for a quilt? They are cute.

Beautiful blocks Lstew, you were very busy.
I've been busy too, getting my machines cleaned and oiled, etc., sewing stuff packed to go back to Wyoming and now going to start cleaning the house and getting it ready to be shut down for the summer. Heading back to Wyoming this weekend hopefully, 3-4 long days of driving....not looking forward to that at all. Next year it's called fly back and forth, no need to drive. We have cars and pickups at both houses, I have sewing machines and fabric at both....what more do you need?

Beautiful star in star block, DS! Wow it's gorgeous.

LStew, hope you join the ensemble. Maybe next time there will be a part just right for you.

Agreed, Jaba. Much easier to fly! That much car time would kill me.
