Sewbiz when hubby retires we will be moving out of the city. Unfortunately our taxes keep going up leaps and bounds. If we used some of the beautiful resources the city offered it would be different. We are thinking of moving about an hour and a half west. Have never lived in a small town before
I think you might like a small town more than you think. It gives you a chance to get to know people... because you see the same ones over and over!

Kassaundra, another fine motif!
Lstew, klaws, bibliostone and mjp, more lovely blocks. This swap is wrapping up very nicely. I see you all are keeping the due date in mind. Thank you!!!
Darcyshannon and GramE, thanks for showing us the pix of your gardens. So pretty!
NanaKathy55, hope your daughter recovers fully soon.
Mom had a fall the other day. Luckily no serious injuries but it's the second in a month. Not a good trend. Less than 2 weeks until DS moves to NC! Woo hoo!

GramE, where are you that your tulips are just starting?
It is fun to see the last blocks get finished. Looking forward to getting them and to start arranging.
Janice, I am sorry to hear about your mom falling. Glad she isn’t hurt but still it must be upsetting. It is good news that your son will be closer.
We are starting to get days in the low 70s and I had such a good time being in my garden yesterday. I may consider sewing outside. I know some people do and I have electricity.

Traveling gramma. DH and I are planning to go on a 6 month van trip. We are trying to figure out how we can fit my sewing machine in the van. Then every so often we could stay at a site with electricity and I can sew. Haven’t figured it out yet.

I absolutely love it! So will a teen girl at Shriner's.
Kass, I think the straight one looks more authenitic, but I like them both.
Today's block is for Hav4boys and I hope it is not too busy. It is not the block I intended, but I cut out all the pieces and then realized I had not added any seam allowance on any of them! So it is an improvised block and I hope you can use it.
