MJP, this quilt block is beautiful and the very first Dresden I have ever received in a Boom swap, thank you!

Kass, I am loving what I see with the fabric you are designing. My hope is that I will find a quilt block that will show off that beautiful fabric!

Lovely flower gardens ladies! We have been working in the yard daily trying to get all the pine straw down and all bushes trimmed. The plan is to be on the road to return to Wisconsin sometime next week. Ugh, I dread two days of traveling.

Janice, hope everything is fine with your Mom and that there will be no more falls. Hurray for your son returning!

Janice I am so excited for you that your son is returning. Miss my son so much. Sure hope your Mom doesn’t continue to fall, very frightening

Cheesehead you don’t need to rush home rain, rain and more rain if you are getting our same disgusting weather.

I love to sew outside also but in Minnesota it is a rare treat, between the wind, mosquitoes and flies.

Bit crabby today. Went to dentist to have crown put on and the darn thing didn’t fit right. Have one heck of a headache from dentist trying to make it work. Never have had that happen before

Bonnie Hunter sews outside on her porch. I think she treadles.

Terri, I feel for you. I hate any kind of dental work.

Oh, Janice, If I remember correctly, your son should be somewhere near my location. Now you know that means a lunch date when you come in to see him!

Off topic- we've just had a shooting of three people at the UNC campus in Charlotte. Shooter is in custody. So far, I'm hearing it's injuries only. Everything is locked down on the campus. What is wrong with people these days?
Just announced: two dead, 4 injured.

So sorry to hear that Libster. Today the jury convicted the ex police officer of shooting an unarmed woman 2 years ago, less then a block from my house. Afraid we are going to have more marches in neighborhood. People who are thrilled with the verdict against people who feel he was convicted only because of his color. These are not neighbors stirring up the trouble these people arrive in busses, stop traffic and disrupt the neighborhood. Very scary.

Janice, happy that your son will be that much closer to you!

Libster, sorry to hear about another shooting. These are heartless days we are living in, to be sure.

Biblio - thanks for the block. It looks awesme on point.

The horrible thing about all the shootings is that we are becoming so accustomed to them. What will it take for us to have had enough. So sad.

Thanks to everyone for all your kind words and love. Been laying low, doing lots of yoga and not letting myself get stressed out about things. So far so good.

For VikkiM:

and last is my boom 22 Depression Block. Not all fabrics make it into the block, but eventually, each fabric will get used.

Your blocks look great, B'stone! Love the one you made with everyone's fabric scraps. Good idea!

Biblio, I love the Depression Block. That is such a special memory block. Well done.
That's some pretty special fussy cutting in TG's block too!
