Thank you Marcialee for my block. That is one of my favorite blocks! In fact, I made this block for Annie Quilts. While Marcialee gave the name as Peaceful hours, I know it as Peaceful home. I figured out how to make it from a picture and don't use a template. I'm sure that a template would be helpful though, especially when fussy-cutting fabric.

Gorgeous blocks, y'all. I'm glad I'm not the only one who makes bloopers. I have had something go wrong with every single block for everyone except my own. Nerves, perhaps, trying to be "perfect" knowing that I'm sewing for other quilters? Well, you will have to take my word that I'm doing my best with the best of intentions. I'm in the Sooner group, so if you're not, don't worry about it. LOL

Wowser - all have been busy sewing -
AnnieQuilts - applique - especially Hawaiian is on my list. I love it especially with the batiks.
Marciale - those tennis rackets really are perfectly cut - great job
I did get two done - Last boom I did this star with black and loved it - so I did Jaba's with her chocolate brown and hope it pops for you!
Kass - Didn't know which way to turn so decided on arrows. I used the lime green and pinkish colors in your fabric and it is a bit low key - hope it play with others.

I know what you mean Zoe. I’m trying to find the sweet spot of doing blocks that people will like that are within my skill level. I still make tester blocks sometimes and should have in this case for sure!

Terri and Libster, thank you for my blocks. They are both wonderful!
I think the next boom I am going back to some brighter fabric. What I sent this time seems so drab compared to all the colorful blocks that have been shown so far.
I have 3 more blocks finished and I will post pictures tomorrow. It is getting late and time for bed.
