Lay out some different widths and take pics, the perspective in the photo will give you an idea of how it will look.

Sew Im not sure where I got this one but maybe Wayfair?? I have 4 of them in my yard. One has solar lights on it and is really pretty when its blowing and spinning. This one is copper but Ive seen them in red/white/blue in town but no idea where they came from. Everyones ideas are just awesome for the next boom. I LOVE the cornerstones on Pams ..Id probaby put another row of black with cornerstones on the outside! I see my block too..

Wow - some really pretty fabric and quilts being shown!

I still have not decided on what fabric to send - been too busy playing with my embroidery machine this weekend.

I can't decide between going with a focus fabric, or something more basic and ask that it be used as "background".

My brain is churning. I know what I'm going to do with the fabric sent by Kassaundra, Jaba and Darcy's fabric already. You three may get one of my odd blocks. I always have trouble with the larger floral patterns. I can't bear to cut the flowers up!

Cathy, QuilterMomma did that in Boom 20... she sent a neutral background print and asked that everyone make a block using civil war fabrics or civil war colors. She got a beautiful collection back, for a civil war quilt. You can see the blocks in the gallery for Boom 20.

Good morning, Boomers. Sign-ups close Friday night. Getting close. . Am loving all the fabrics I’ve seen and the discussions. So many options are open to you. I look forward to seeing what everyone does with them.

PamelaOry, your Boom 21 quilt is beautiful. I cannot believe how well the all the different blocks play together. I wonder what you'll decide on the borders.

MsMerkle, the LaPass beginning is wonderful. (I toy with the idea of starting one but that’s all I do.) I’m sure your mother will love the items you made for her.

Terriamn, let us know how Stella’s sewing project goes. Sweet time with her g’mother.

Laundry awaits. I hear it calling to me since I’ve ignored it for a few days while I finished up a project for another swap. No excuse now to ignore it. Oh, well.

This is what I have blooming right now. I rooted it from a broken leaf that a friend gave me. No clue what it's name is. I just love the variegated leaves. Can you tell I'm bored, waiting for some pretties to play with!?
