I received my package today and the count is good. I went ahead and made a few blocks. Moonrise Pick which block you would like. I was originally going to put the framed 4 squares with the square on point. Then I realize that it would have been too big of a block (17.5" square) so I made two blocks and I still have a 5.5" square of fabric left.

I received my package and have had a great day with it.
First 3 are for Mona.

Two for Libster

And one for Moonrise. I thought the simple design will be great for a bag. I will enclose the extra fabric for a pocket or two.

Oh my gosh, Hav4, I love my blocks! That double star just jumps off the page! Thank you! Wow, you're fast.

my squishy arrived yesterday and the count is correct. Lots of lovely fabric too! I probably won't have time to work on them until this weekend though. I'm working on a bargello and have the strips for the four quadrant sewn and laid out in the order to sew - I don't want to move them until they are sewn together.

Moonrise - I guess I forgot to post the picture! I'll try to remember when I get home tonight. As long as you don't use anything that would be considered a "neutral" it should be fine. And that would include any prints that would basically "read" as neutral too.

Quick request when taking pix so that everyone can see your work better. Please try to take them face on rather than at an angle. I have an 18x18 inch piece of cardboard that I covered with an old piece of flannel, taping the edges to hold it in place. Anyway, I can smooth my blocks out and stand it up virtually vertically on a cabinet or dresser or whatever, leaning against the wall, and the block will not slip off. Super easy to use and takes 3 minutes to make and I can take it down when done. You could even pin the blocks to a pillow or cushion and do the same.
Will reopen the gallery when I get home now that we've got some pix to share. Thanks.
