Hey Bug! I love my bird block! Thank you so much.
I should be getting my package today. I can't wait to see all the wonderful fabric and start on my blocks for y'all.

I got my fabric last night and it is all just lovely! I'm excited to get started on these this weekend. I'm going to need to see if I have anything in my limited stash and then head out shopping.

bibliostone, the pattern is Pinwheel and it came from The Big Book Of Strip Quilts. Glad you liked it. I tried to figure out how to make a kaleidoscope pattern but was worried that there was not enough material to make the duplicate pieces.

Figured my poor house could wait another day for cleaning and I sewed!! Got Julisab's lovely orange fabric made into a butterfly. Orange is the most researched color. It's very emotional and attention getting.... people usually like it or hate it. I loved it in the butterfly! Hope it is bright enough.

Also did Terri's wild and crazy print. Request was for bright, so bright it is!

Hope you ladies like them, I had fun making them!

Love that butterfly! And I do love orange. I have very little in my stash because I'm always using it up.

I'm very sad because I have 4 blocks done and can't get pictures to upload to either my laptop or my husband's desktop. My cell phone is new so I don't know what the problem could be. Any guesses? When I plug the phone into the computer, I don't get the proper upload boxes.

Ok, pic upload finally worked. Lo and behold...! So here are the first four blocks I have made. They are for Marija, SuziSew, Mona and Hav4boys, in that order. Hope you like them, ladies...

I am finally sitting and catching up on all the beautiful blocks. Just have to sew down the binding on the Round the worlds quilt, and I put all the scraps from it away. Cleared off the remainder of cutting area. And DH arrives with my package. Perfect timing

Mona love your quilt top, hope you share a picture of it when it’s completed.

Bugaroo, great blocks especially mine, love how bright the yellow is.

Sewbiz 4 great blocks, love your color choices

Biblistone your block is almost completely cut out. Hubby helped me with the color choices. I said you wanted the amber color and he said I was looking at a Pilsner and then he showed me which beer was an amber. Too funny

Thought I would get one more in today. Sewbizgirl, love the fabric (surfboards) for a guys quilt. I used a bit of my water marked blues. Thought it would play well with the water theme. Hope you like it. I didn't do anything fancy as guys usually like it pretty plain.
