Terri, 7 Fillings... sounds like one of my nightmares. So sorry, Terri! Your Teddy Bear Star block is just amazing. Look at how perfectly you pieced a really complex block! You have my utmost admiration!

Sewbiz wish I could say this was my worst dental story but unfortunately it’s not. Years back I had to have a re- root canal. Went to dentist with a crazy bad toothache. He took one look and sent me to a specialist. According to the specialist the compound that was used to fill in the root canal at that time was the new and greatest. Turned out not to be so great and the compound was breaking down and the cause of my infection. That specialist was a true compassionate person and worked 2 hours on the tooth. With no nerve it shouldn’t have hurt but with the infection in there. Ouch ouch ouch.

Terriamn, oh my gosh! Ouch! Just went through replacement fillings and a new crown on a broken tooth. Luckily, my worst pain was the Novocain shot. I’ve got a great dentist who also takes his time to get everything right.
Here are two blocks. The first is for Hav4boys, her pink batik. The green matches the green spots in your smaller piece. It’s a variation on Cups and Saucers. The other is for WMUTeach, a Martha Washington Star. Lol. I was just sewing it up earlier when I saw Cheese’s and I opted not to change it since hers is a lovely three color block and mine is two. Hope you both like your blocks.
I’ve got two more partially finished on the design wall. I hope to finish those on Friday.
