Thanks, everyone, for your comments on Pladish. I don't know about using candies... The smallest pieces used are 4" or more. Cut some new scraps! It's fun to do.

Here’s the first of many blocks for my new project. This block took more time than any other one I’ve ever made and I still missed some points and a couple of units are a bit wonky. Oh, well. I’ll be an expert by the time I finish them all. Lol
