Ernie looks like a lovely gentleman! So good of you to want to give him a loving home for his last years. Wishing you luck!

Terriamn, that tumble really did some harm. Hugs!!! Hopefully after the dentist trip, it will all be behind you.

I got some sewing done this morning while watching the twins play and Alida was rocking herself in her bouncy seat. Everyday is a party for the twinsies! Their sibling dynamic is hilarious to watch! Anyway, here's my block for Ibex. Hopefully you like it.

Ernie ❤️ sure looks like a nice cuddler. He may be anxious and thus having skin issues. Hopefully they have a history for him!
And I have picked out a fabric for next year! We plan to be in RV for January so I want to have it ready to mail come February. And perhaps two??

All ready ready for Boom 33! Atta girl! I’m thinking of doing two as well.

I got more info on Ernie. Seems he had the worst flea infestation his foster mom had ever seen and she works at a veterinary hospital. He was a stray. His skin is improving but it will be a process. And he was seriously underweight. Poor guy. And since he’s a stray, his age was estimated so nobody knows how old he is. Well, whatever his age, he’s going to have a better life with us (if we mesh) than he had for a long while. He’s going to be spoiled. I can hardly wait.

Here’s a pic of us in front of our casita in NM. The weather’s been gorgeous. Just waiting another 20 minutes for full darkness before we head outside to watch the skies.

Take care all.

Oh my, Ernie is too cute! I'm sure you'll get him used to a better life and spoiled rotten in no time, Janice! It's great to see what you and hubby look like!

NZ, great block for Ibex! How fun that the twins entertain each other. In a few years they will seem like triplets with the youngest. You have such a nice family!

We finally got RAIN after 5 weeks without! It was so dry here. We were afraid for the trees, after last year's months-long drought. We lost so many huge, old trees... maybe 40 or 50 or even more. But it's been raining steadily for hours now, and supposed to continue tomorrow. We really need a good, deep soaking, even if it did mess up the trick-or-treating.

Janice Mc C, I am happy for you and I hope Ernie will be happy with the two of you. Wondering, when will you get to have some time together since you are traveling?

I have been after some UFO's the past week. Finished one and now trying to catch up on a couple of others. Tomorrow is Sewing Work day for my group and I may just spend my time layering quilts so I can get at them quilting between now and Thanksgiving turning them into finishes or at least nearly finished quilts. From time to time I get a bit claustrophobic with all of these unfinished projects and UFOs surrounding me. Time to tackle them, one quilt at a time and move them out of my space.

So, I will gather my quilts, tops and batting and bag them up for tomorrow and then to the kitchen to make pies for my niece's 40th birthday celebration tomorrow. Let them eat pie!

“Double, double, toil and trouble, Fire burn and cauldron bubble”…love the cauldron block, NZQ.

Wmuteach, we meet Ernie next week and hope to have him by the weekend. We’ll be home on Monday. Looks like we’ve got a cloudy day today. That’s ok since today’s plans are simply to relax and enjoy the area.

Anyone else thinking of joining Boom 33? It’ll probably be posted mid-late January. I’ll keep you all apprised here.

Reminder, finished blocks must be in my hands on the 22nd of this month. That’s just less than 3 weeks away. You can probably ship as early as Saturday since it’ll take a few days to reach me.

Hope you all enjoyed Halloween. Did anyone have any fun trick or treaters this year?

Have a good day.
