Last Block from this squirrel.

I apologize for the distorted colors but the back ground really is gray not yellow and the cherries are red not orange. Trust this plays well with your other blocks

Janice, I will try another photo in natural light and see if the colors are more as they should be. I think the lamp light bleaches out the colors.

A second try at a more accurate coloration of the cherries for Annaquilts.

Decided to make one more block for me.

Then went to doc he said he didn’t think I had a bone bruise or a fracture but he thought it was a hemotona and would be fully healed Christmas. He suggested an x-ray to ease my mind, I could tell he felt I was over reacting and was just poo pooing me. He spent at least 3 or 4 minutes with me and that could be exaggerating. Then I received my X-ray result back.. Now I need to have a CT before we leave Saturday. My my my.

Result

Narrative & Impression
COMPARISON: None.

FINDINGS: No definite fracture is identified. However, given the complete opacification of the left maxillary sinus and history of left facial trauma, further evaluation with facial bone CT is recommended.

Terriamn, sorry to hear you didn’t get a definitive answer about your cheek. Hope further tests don’t delay your trip. Love your newest block.

WMUTeach, the cherry block is terrific!

Am at the grands house and temporarily have internet thru the cell. Got to run!

The cherry block is darling!

Thanks for the good wishes for BIL. He is still in a coma. New info is that he had a huge hematoma that burst, causing the bleeding and a "massive stroke". Won't know about the tumor they took out for several days, as it had to be sent off to a lab for eval. At this point we don't know if he will wake up. The current prayer requests are that he will start to breathe fully on his own, and that he will respond to commands, such as "squeeze my finger." It's pretty serious and could go either way.

Terri, glad you didn't let that jerk dr. dismiss your concerns. Get that CT. And be careful relocating turtles, LOL!

I have been experiencing dizziness for the last several days. Don't know why but it's starting to drive me nuts. If it doesn't stop soon I'll be chasing another medical rabbit trail...

Interesting about your dizziness, SBG. I woke two nights ago feeling dizzy and it lasted about 12 hours. Very difficult to describe. Not like the room was spinning but things in my head were spinning.

Contacted one of my docs because of a new medication she put me on. Just checking if that was the culprit. She said, not likely. Suggest I see my primary, but I was just there a week ago all all vitals were normal but one and that we already knew about "come see me in six months". I am taking detailed notes on the dizzy experience so I can report accurately. I dislike "mysterious" rabbit trails. They are not an adventure I enjoy. I will see the new med doc in a week and take it from there. Time to read up on causes and what is vertigo any way? Suffered from that when pregnant long, long ago.

Terri - be the one in charge. If you feel you concerns were not addressed be demanding. Your life, your face, you are paying the bill and you are justifiably concerned. Now, I need to tell that to myself from time to time. Sending you good wishes and prayer for a comforting and clear answer for your concerns.

I enjoyed making the cherries. I looked at the block and thought it was just right for the swap but all those pieces! It went together as easy as "cherry" pie. Cut accurately and follow the directions step by step and it turned our right. I did use the Farm Girl Vintage Book and Lori Holt's directions a clear and precise.

Good morning, Squirrels. I’m at the doc office with DH for a check up hence the internet. A portion of our neighborhood had a power outage as a transformer blew. We’re lucky it doesn’t affect us. DS finally has water at his house in W Asheville, a welcome relief.

Lstew, I’m sorry to hear of your sister’s troubles. I wish her well in this journey she’s on. And you and your family as well.

Here comes the doc.

Janice, hope your hubby checks out well at the cardiologist.

Lstew, prayers for your sister and family. Hope she is on the mend and can get help for her other problems.

Still no change in my BIL in a coma. SIL who found him is now admitted to the hospital too... same hospital. She had a huge cancer surgery almost a year ago and has been having problems related to that. When it rains, it pours!

Still loving the few blocks being posted!
