NZ, sorry about the kids being sick. When mine were little they seemed to always get so sick on weekends. Back then we didn’t have Urgent care so it was off to the emergency room. Always a long, cold and expensive process. Sure hope your kiddos get better quickly
Reba I had the Brother 1500 for my main sewing machine for years. Loved it.
Cheese we head back to Minnesota for Christmas season Wednesday morning. Have a safe drive home, do you make the drive in 2 days or 3?
I am working on a Christmas wallhanging that I started many years ago, just might have it done this year
Sewbiz love your funky animals quilt. It certainly brings a smile ro your face

Oh yay, I found one seller on Etsy who had the Party Animals feathers fabric I used in my sashing, and purchased it! I'll be able to use it for the outside border around the quilt. And thank you SuzieQ for sharing the original piece of that fabric with me, plus a panel that I will use in the second Animals quilt.
Getting those Boom quilts finished up!

Wondering how the kiddos are doing, NZ? I recall how just three being ill at the same time could be a challenge, I can only imagine how your family must pull you in multiple directions when sick and grumpy or just needing you to be close by for hugs and soothing.

Good morning. We got a dusting of snow last night. I wonder if we’ll get more this winter.
Spent more time in the sewing room trying to figure out a setting for my grey blocks. I keep changing my mind.
Haircut later today. I’m 2 months overdue. Helene tossed everyone’s calendars to the wind. Yesterday was a dental appointment also two months late. Happily only good news.
I believe all the packages I shipped have arrived.
WMUTeach’s Candy swap for 2025 is open for signups. Check it out on the member swap page. It’s a lot of fun.
Have a good day!

Made mention of the boomerang swap on another thread this morning. A QB member posted a similar process that they were doing in their quilt guild. Thought there might be interest in giving it a try with this group. I directed them to come wander our thread and look at our lovelies.

WMUT good idea on bringing up the boom to other groups. It would be great even if we only had 1 new person join in.
This is my finished Santa wallhanging. He does need his face added but that just isn’t my forte. It will stay on the wall here in Texas.
Today is sewing for the Mission and I really should be getting ready to go not chatting on the computer

WMUTeach’s, thanks for spreading the word about the Boom. I agree, Terriamn, a new person or persons, would be good, liven us up a bit! I keep hoping a lurker or two will join in. The swap has thousands of views. Not all of them are us!
12 degree wind chill. Brrr.

Terriamn, that is a charming Santa. Love the green fabric you used for the trees and Santa's coat trim! Such movement.
Perhaps some of the former Boomers will come back for the spring/winter round. I always keep a list of previous Birthday Swappers who chose to step out of the swap and ask them to consider joining us again in the new year. Some do, some don't but often the personal invitation will bring back one or two.
