LOL! I just realized I posted the wrong fabric. Well, the pattern is same, but I forgot that I got the butterflies with the BLACK background and not the PURPLE! Whoops!  The butterfly colors are the same, though.

Anyway, it got here today, and I'll try to get it washed this evening. :)

Moonrise: hahahahahahahaa! I've got that one, too! Your quilt will be very pretty.

KarenBarnes: I'm pretty good at choosing colors to go with a fabric, but sometimes I get stuck. Like MJ said, pick a good 2-color block and you can't go wrong. I've done that in the past, and sometimes I use white/beige/muslin/tan, and occasionally I will use black as the second (i.e., "background") color. Makes the focus fabric really stand out. And don't worry ... we're sure to love whatever you make for us, 'cuz it's made with love and care.

Moonrise: I already have a question for you...Do you want us to go with the "pastel" of the color or the "bright" of the colors on that fabric? For example, would you prefer the "pastel" pink or make it "hot" pink, for a pop?
Thanks

It's totally up to you! I'm partial to bright colors, but a mix of brights and pastels would be fun. I'm not picky! :)

I was going to go shopping but remembered that I had spent a fortune at Walmart some time ago and found some fabrics in the same print but different colors! I'll let everyone else figure out what my quilt will look like and I can still have my favorite colors! How cool is that? I bought the fabric only because I liked it and wanted it in my stash. What good timing!

Odessa, you can run but you can't hide!! Girl, I found you!! Seems we can't escape one another - but that's a good thing, right??! What's funny is how many of each others' blocks we will eventually end up with.

Hint: But elsewhere I am not montanablu...

gorgeous fabric moon rise, that sure will change the tone of your quilt. I like the black better, anyway.

I finished my block. I can't say for sure, but I think it may be responsible for my headache.

I have never made anything like this before. I like it so much I am going to change it to my avatar :P

My kids said I should keep going until it is really big and I might but, lucky for me, I ran out of yellow.

My fabric is the orange. This took way more than a F8 to make.

You can send it to me if you don't have anything else that goes with it ;-)
